After a traditional Mormon upbringing, including a houseful of siblings and expectations that she will marry young, college freshman Michelle Campbell ventures into professional modeling with the biggest agency in town. Success in “the business” comes quickly as she enters a worldly and seductive culture very foreign to her traditional background. Complicating it all is a charismatic and persistent returned missionary who falls in love hard for her and wants to pull her back. As she fights to maintain her independence, she tries to keep her balance between the exciting life that beckons in front of the camera and her conflicting values system. She discovers that exercising her agency-a word she has heard her whole life-is not so easy.
