Description

THE WARRIOR is fictionalized to protect the guilty. Any resemblance to anyone is purely coincidental unless they have a guilty conscious. Then it is only in their mind.

This novel is not just about war. It delves into the physical, mental, and spiritual essence of the real warrior.

Vietnam is the unforgiven war. Against public support, it lasted 18 years and resulted in 300,000 wounded and 58,000 dead Americans. The names of the dead are listed on a memorial wall in Washington, D.C. At times, soldiers endured a causality rate of 200 to 300 wounded and dead in a single week.

Our soldiers confronted a formidable enemy whose primary objective was to kill Americans. Historically, the Vietnamese outlasted every enemy that ever invaded their country--the Mongolian hordes, China, Japan, France, and including American politicians.

American soldiers bravely fought and won every battle required of them, and unflinchingly displayed the true American fighting spirit. This is their story. A story told with rare insight and intimate understanding. It tells how they lived and fought a tragic, thankless war Their blood. Their guts.

History is doomed to repeat itself. Compare it to modern times. THE WARRIOR is timeless in its scope and relevance to ancient, current, and future events.

As amazing as it is, this year, for the first time ever,  we're going to be closed for Memorial Day!

That means we're going to be closed, Saturday-Monday May 29th-31st,  2021.

I know what you're thinking--what???  The whole country's just opening up!  Whaddya mean, you're taking off?  Well, we haven't been closed during The Plague.  We've been here working harder than ever, due to a wildly increased demand for our services, so honestly, the Crew and I desperately need these days away.  No telephone calls or emails will be answered.  The admin office needs a break.  We'll be back, everything to the ready, the morning of Tuesday, June 1st, to get cracking.  Thank you for your support and understanding.  And please, don't forget why we honor Memorial Day.  We should never--never--forget The Fallen.

For those of you already in production, the production crew is running full steam; Judith (QA--Quality assurance, our Princess of Perfection) and Hakima in QA, and Jay (Our Doyenne of Customer Delight) will be here and working, checking books and sending them out, so please, don't worry.  It's just we lazybones in the admin office that need a break!
