Carolyn Rose

Carolyn J. Rose was born and raised in the Catskill Mountains of New York. After graduating from the University of Arizona, she joined Volunteers in Service to America and worked with food and medical programs in and around Little Rock, Arkansas. There she began a career in television news that took her to Albuquerque, New Mexico; Eugene, Oregon; and Vancouver, Washington, where she lives with her husband, radio personality Mike Phillips, and a motley collection of pets.
