Read the story of a young seal from her birth beside the dark waters of Loch Shiel in the Western Highlands of Scotland, and how she managed to learn to hunt and survive despite near-fatal injuries suffered soon after being born. Later, Rondo contracts a deadly seal virus, but is caught by well-wishers and taken to a recovery centre. Eventually a run down beach-side marine life centre takes her in as a star attraction but she almost dies through neglect until being set free by the woman who had originally looked after her after capture. She's many hundreds of miles from her home waters, but with only tides, sun and stars to guide her back to Loch Shiel, can she make it?
