Lee Pratt was born in New York City in 1930 and grew up in Arizona and California. He earned an M.A. in Telecommunications and Film at San Diego State University, and served with the U. S. Army in Korea. Before turning his hand to writing he was an award-winning educational film producer. Lee and his wife Connie live in Santa Barbara, California. When he is not writing, they enjoy adventure travel.
