Lala Corriere

Lala was no doubt a premiere and loyal monthly subscriber to Dr. Seuss's children's books, and years later, one of the first teenage girls to hide Erica Jong's 'Fear of Flying' deep under the folds of her mattress. Lala's mother taught her the love of books by devoting daily reading time. From early childhood, Lala has been passionate about all the arts. She is a painter and a former stage performer. Early work careers blended selling high-end real estate in Colorado, where she was also president of an interior design firm, Connoisseur, Ltd. Extended university coursework focused on the fine arts, but the lure of writing was even stronger. The seeds of her writing journey were sown by Lala's fifth grade teacher, Miss Macey. She was the first mentor to suggest Lala consider a career in writing. That extension of the arts through the written word, and a bold commitment, turned into a full time passion in 2001.
