Anneke Campbell

Anneke Campbell was born and raised in The Netherlands. She has worked as a midwife, a nurse, a yoga teacher, a college teacher of creative writing and English literature. She has published award winning poetry and articles and scripted and produced documentaries, including the ACLU Freedom Files, as well as the drama "A Day with the Concord Writers" for WGBH in Boston. Her manual for activists with the visionary environmental lawyer Thomas Linzey came out in 2009, her anthology of women leaders with Bioneers founder Nina Simons in 2009. In "Oh Little Town of Bellingham" she reworks her favorite childhood story, the birth of the miracle child in the manger, emphasizing the miracle of actual birth.
